Stewart Brewing is an independent brewery with a shop, bar and pizza kitchen and brew-your-own experiences. Set up by husband and wife team, Steve and Jo Stewart, in 2004. Here, you can learn all about the brewing process, enjoy a wide selection of beers in the bar, dine on hand-stretched Neapolitan style pizzas in the restaurant and purchase bottles of beer to take home.
There’s also the opportunity to brew your own beer in the craft beer kitchen. Here, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the whole procedure, from choosing a recipe and understanding the roles of hops and malt, through to bottling and labelling your creation three weeks later. Located in Loanhead, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Stewart Brewing is easily reached from the city centre by bus.
