Lind & Lime is an award-winning London Dry Gin produced in Leith. You can visit the working gin distillery and enjoy a 75-minute tour. Here, you’ll sample a signature gin and tonic, learn about the history of the brand, fill and label your own mini bottle and mix your own perfect Gimlet cocktail! There is also a shop, where you can pick up your own bottle of Lind & Lime Gin. The distillery is located in Leith, just a short walk from The Shore. Easy to reach by bus or tram from Edinburgh city centre.
Lind & Lime Gin was established in 2017 and is named after the 18th-century Edinburgh-born doctor, James Lind, who studied the health benefits of citrus fruits and their effects of preventing scurvy in sailors. The distillery is run by the Port of Leith Distillery Company, which is also currently building a brand new whisky distillery in Leith.
